Ceramicum vase - signed, Maanus Mikkel 1997

A beautifully decorated vase made in the Ceramicum studio by Maanus Mikkel (b. 1956).
Height 15 cm. The vase is signed and dated 1997.

About the author:
Maanus Mikkel is a ceramicist from Tartu. He worked at the Tartu ARS ceramics studio from 1988 to 1996 and then at Ceramicum. Since 2001 he has been a freelance artist. Mikkel is known especially for his graphic expression and use of the engobe technique. He has been a member of the Estonian Artists' Union since 1993.

Condition: good, only minor signs of age-related wear.
